Who We Are
Our Story
The S.A.F.E. Institute for Entrepreneurial & Economic Development™ was born from a simple truth:
Entrepreneurs cannot rise if the systems around them are not designed for their realities.
For years, emerging founders navigated instability, trauma, systemic barriers, and economic exclusion , yet no national or international model existed to address these challenges in a unified, trauma‑informed way. Programs existed. Resources existed. Initiatives existed. But a framework that connected human stabilization to economic mobility did not.
Our Founder, Jameilla J. Robinson‑Frazier, recognized this gap through lived experience, research, and years of supporting entrepreneurs across diverse communities. She saw that the field was missing something foundational, a model that honored people first, strengthened systems second, and transformed economies as a result. So she created one.
The S.A.F.E. Framework™ emerged as a pioneering approach that integrates stabilization, access, foundational skill‑building, and empowerment into a cohesive pathway for entrepreneurial advancement. It is the first model of its kind, and it now serves as the backbone of the S.A.F.E. Institute™.
Today, the Institute stands as a national movement, a place where people, organizations, and communities come together to build safer, stronger, more effective pathways to economic mobility.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is simple:
People rise when systems are designed with their realities in mind.
Economic mobility is not accidental, it is built through environments that honor human dignity, strengthen foundations, and create access to opportunity.
The S.A.F.E. Framework™ was founded on the belief that stabilization is not a luxury; it is a prerequisite for growth. Entrepreneurs, families, and communities thrive when they have safety, clarity, and support. Without these conditions, even the most talented individuals are forced to navigate barriers that should never exist.
We believe in:
- Human‑centered design — systems must be shaped around the lived experiences of the people they serve.
- Stabilization as infrastructure — economic power is built on steady ground.
- Access as a right — opportunity should not be reserved for the few.
- Foundational skill‑building — knowledge and capacity create long‑term mobility.
- Empowerment as a catalyst — people flourish when they are supported, seen, and equipped.
Our philosophy is not theoretical, it is lived, practiced, and embedded in every aspect of our work
The S.A.F.E. Framework™ exists because no national or international model previously connected these elements into a unified, trauma‑informed pathway. Our philosophy honors the reality that people cannot build, lead, or innovate when their foundation is unstable — and that true empowerment requires more than motivation; it requires structure.
We are committed to creating environments where people can rise, and where their rise becomes the catalyst for stronger, safer economies.
This is our philosophy. This is our standard. This is S.A.F.E.
We exist to create conditions where people can rise — and where economies rise with them.
This is our philosophy. This is our standard. This is S.A.F.E.
